Message From the
ADGEF President: Charles Johnson
I would like to first take this opportunity to introduce myself to those whom I have not met. In the fall of 1992, I had the honor of becoming a member of Alpha Delta Gamma National Fraternity in Chicago at Alpha Chapter. During my years at Loyola University Chicago, while serving on the National Board as Treasurer, I had a vision of what the national fraternity could be. My belief is that the success of the fraternity is based on the alumni getting involved with their respective chapters.
In Ft. Lauderdale this past August, I was appointed President of Alpha Delta Gamma's Educational Foundation. This has been a long-time dream of mine because my vision of what this fraternity can be is not that different from the mission of our foundation. I believe that the bond that most brothers experienced while in college is carried on throughout their lives. Most alumni love coming back to their chapters to reminisce about old memories of their years in college. We get so busy in our daily lives that the chance to spend time, even if it's once a year, is an exciting feeling. I know this because that is the feeling I get when I go back to Loyola and visit the chapter.

Over the next few years, the foundation will be very active with each individual local alumni association, as well as the local chapters. We will be promoting alumni events at individual chapters which will be displayed on our new alumni website that will be coming this December. The foundation will be publishing a printed version of Alphadelity next spring, the first one in six years. Our goal for fall 2005 will be a hard copy alumni directory, in which we will be selling pages to businesses and individuals for advertisements. The foundation feels these are very attainable goals and would welcome any support. I know I and my board will carry on the hard work and accomplishments of the previous board and strive to exceed all our expectations.
Fraternally,
