Celebrates Psi Chapter's 10th Anniversary
This year's Alpha Delta Gamma National Convention was full of sun, fun and fraternalism. With more than 100 actives, alumni, friends, and family in attendance at the convention banquet, Psi Chapter, the host of this year's meeting, also celebrated the 10-year anniversary of its founding.
The convention was held in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. at the Doubletree Oceanfront Hotel from August 3-8. The convention included numerous events for the brothers and alumni in attendance, including an alumni BBQ at Barry University, nightlife activities on the Fort Lauderdale Strip, a casino cruise, alumni and active football game on the beach, induction of Alpha Beta chapter, numerous educational and leadership seminars, and of course the final banquet and alumni reception.
Lastly, the highlight of this year's convention was marked by an emotion-filled room of brothers and alumni taking part in a Circle of Friends activity. This activity allowed the active brothers to sit and listen to stories about how someone or something in the fraternity impacted their lives from all the alumni.

 Over the past decade, Psi Chapter has successfully inducted 102 brothers who have been influential in the success of the chapter at Barry University, which is located in Miami Shores. More than 20 Psi actives and alumni showed up to support the brotherhood that has led all of them to become leaders in the community. Psi Chapter has become a crucial part of the Greek life on the Barry campus. Moving into the next decade, the alumni honestly believe that Psi Chapter has a young, bright, and energetic group of actives who will continue the tradition of "a brother who is helped by a brother is like a city walled." We look forward to seeing everyone at next year's convention, which will be hosted by Rho Chapter in Cincinnati.
